New York University Junior Research Scientist (PI: Rodrigo Lacruz) in New York, New York

The Lacruz Laboratory at Department of Molecular Pathobiology, NYU College of Dentistry has an open full-time Junior Research Scientist position. Successful applicants are expected to be able to write drafts of scientific articles and assist with the day to day running of the laboratory including ordering. Applicants are also expected to positively interact with the members of the lab and help in various ongoing projects.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $40,500-$47,500. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or a diploma from a technical school.

  • Applicants should have experience in protein quantification, RNA isolation and gene expression analysis, animal handling and be proficient in data analysis using prism or similar.
