WA is a manufacturer of cored welding wire, and services customers in the hardfacing industry WA-Pitts. is starting a 2nd shift, and looking to hire 2 machine operators, and a shift leader!

JOBS HIRING FOR - Machine Operator- Wire Drawing Machine PRODUCT MANUFACTURED - Cored Welding Wire REPORTS TO - Plant Manager TYPE OF POSITION - Full-Time / Hourly PAY - $17.00 to $19.00 / Hour to Start + Raises & Bonuses, Shift differential, Full Review after 90 days

BENEFITS- Health Insurance after 30 days, Vacation and PTO after 6 months SHIFT -- 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday. Training will be completed on 1st shift

JOB SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate wire mill making cored welding wire.
• Complete set-up and operation of wire mill. This includes tool changes, machine adjustments, quality checks, minor machine repairs, etc.
• Calculating and recording set-up parameters on wire mill.
• Measuring with O.D. Micrometers (Metric).
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Operating jib cranes.
• Work and operate other pieces of equipment around the plant as required.
• Any duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS -- REQUIRED

· Experience with running and set-up of high volume production machines.

• Very mechanically inclined.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated & hard worker.
• Excels in a workplace with few employees.

· Good communicator and able to work with others well.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS - DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

· Experience with running and set-up of high volume production machines.

· Electric forklift experience.

• Manufacturing Experience.
• CNC Experience.
• Industrial electronics experience.
• Maintenance experience.
