RBC Associate Operations II- Wire Transfers in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? The Wire Transfer Associate position is responsible for providing excellent, accurate and timely customer service to RBC Wealth Management (RBC WM) branches & complexes, C&C (Custody & Cleaning), Operations and Corporate areas for: internal/external incoming and outgoing international and domestic wire transfer transactions, internal ACH transactions, reconciliation of bank accounts department general ledgers and phone queue support. What will you do? Accurately and efficiently process incoming and outgoing wire transfers for client and company general ledger accounts for: domestic, international and foreign currency wire transfers utilizing internal processing systems and various banking websites, while adhering to regulatory requirements. Various reconciliations for multiple bank accounts and general ledgers related to Wire Transfer. This includes reconciliation of differences between customer ledgers and the department general ledger as they relate to incoming and outgoing wire transfers. Accept and process returned wire transfers. Utilize various vendor and RBC applications to complete tasks, maintain and update reports. As necessary, research complex requests ranging from suspected fraud to adjustments for various wire transfer requests. Participate in various department projects as a subject matter expert and provide meaningful feedback and contributions to the project; including: testing and troubleshooting system changes and enhancements. Assist in the training of new associates. Perform other duties as assigned. What do you need to succeed? Must-have 4-year degree from an accredited university (or equivalent). Or High school diploma (or equivalent) and 3+ years of job-related experience. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment with a high attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Excellent customer service and telephone skills. Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment. Ability to independently manage daily fluctuations in workload and prioritize to meet department needs. Some banking, brokerage operations, or related experience. Nice-to-have 4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field 1+ year business, finance, customer service and/or accounting/securities experience What's in it for you?
