Job Description

The Lima Plant is one of the largest most advanced sites at Procter and Gamble. It produces top brands like Tide, Tide Pods and Downy that ship out a 1.7 million square foot, highly advanced warehouse.

We're looking for Operating Department Leaders with 3-5 years of work experience in physical distribution, operations management, supply chain management, logistics, or engineering to join our team and continue our automation journey in Lima, OH.

You will be responsible to lead delivery of warehouse operations targets for Service, Cost, Cash and Stewardship of the warehouse, by ensuring that they have the capacity and capability to receive, store, pick, and ship while meeting all internal P&G and external Customer requirements.

You will be r esponsible for ensuring and sustaining the operational safety, product quality and records accuracy for the area . Responsible for deploying and maintaining standards and owns the daily direction setting process and the Run to Target Process for unit/line. Responsible for building the capability of the organization and for fostering a healthy team culture

YOUR ROLE:

This is an opportunity to be part of a robust and hard-working team on the Lima P&G campus. The warehouse department leader will lead and direct team s within a 2 4 hour shift pattern across 7 days to deliver the business results. The leader will analyze workload on a daily basis and set the direction with their team s to ensure the business deliverables in all areas of the warehouse are met. The Warehouse Leader will drive flexibility and productivity within the shift by holding the area owners accountable for the deliverables within their area. They will contribute to weekly and monthly business planning and direction setting reviews in order to drive improvements in operational results. The department leader will have a positive effect on improving employee engagement though supporting coaching and developing employees to deliver their true potential.

You will be responsible for ensuring that work is executed safely, with good efficiency and with a constant eye for outages versus the normal standards in terms of quality and stewardship. You will work with the operations leader to develop the breadth of your skills to ensure you have full knowledge of all areas of our business, developing the flexibility to be able to cover and supervise the full breadth of warehouse.

Job Qualifications

We think you will be a good fit if you have the following:

· A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business operations, engineering, Supply Chain Management/Logistics or similar degree. This role leverages advanced technology to address practical business considerations.

· Have 3-5 years of engineering, operations management, or physical distribution experience.

· Are willing to travel on the job on occasion. It depends on your position, but we want to make sure you are aware some business travel may be required.

· Ability to travel up to 25%
