Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Waste/Water Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, and site development. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions. Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to identify quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required.

• Conduct market research to obtain current material, labor, and equipment costs.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead costs.

• Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

• Participate in bid preparation and presentations to clients.

• Track and monitor project costs throughout the construction process.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost databases.

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met within budget.

• May participate in site visits to assess project complexity and identify potential challenges.
