Insight Global Sr. Supply Chain Planner in Irvine, California

Job Description

As a Supply Chain Planner, your role is to support and ensure the seamless integration of the supply chain schedules and eBOM management within Supply Chain Operations. You will be responsible for optimizing the flow of materials, resources, and information across Supernals Supply Chain network while maintaining accurate schedules to drive action across our procurement team.

Skills and Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties

- Schedule Development: Develop and maintain comprehensive supply chain schedules of purchase orders, parts, and deliveries.

- Dependency Management: Identify and manage dependencies between tasks and activities ensuring that dependencies are clearly defined, tracked, and resolved to prevent delays and bottlenecks.

- Documents Control: Ensure accurate documentation of BOMs and procurement files including part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and control information into and out of the schedule.

- BOM Analysis: Conduct analysis of bill of materials and reconcile with procurement file.

- Version control: Implement effective version control processes to manage multiple iterations of procurement files.

- Software Utilization: Understand BOM management software tools and ERP (SAP) system to effectively facilitate procurement file maintenance, analysis, and reporting.

- Team Collaboration: Work with sourcing, logistics, and receiving to drive action to meet milestone dates.

 Education/Experience:

- Bachelors degree in data analytics or engineering

- 5-7 years experience in data analysis and supply chain management

- Intermediate ERP and PLM experience

- Proven experience in schedule management

 Required Skills:

- Bias for action

- Sense of urgency

- Expert in Microsoft Office Suite

- Expert in Excel

- Expert in Database Management

- 2-5 years of BOM Management experience

- 2-5 years of Schedule Management experience null
