Position Summary
This position assist the Director in providing oversight to the administration of the NCPC Research & Policy Division ( RPD ) and manage daily operations related to research projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
- Advanced degree in Education, Psychology, Human Services, Public Health.
Experience:
Prior work experience developing and implementing policies and procedures.
Expertise in dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices; promising practices

Job Duties
Description of Job Duty
Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the NCPC Research & Policy Division ( RPD )
Responsible for planning, administering, and reviewing all activities related to NCPC RPD projects.
Responsible for the development and implementation of division and project goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Develops strategies to achieve division and project research objectives and goals; assists in the efficient operation of the division, setting priorities for management, budget, and fiscal activities.
Assists in the development and formulation of project budgets and revenue; prepares budgetary documents and reports; oversees other budgetary data and division information including division revenue.
Participates in writing and developing proposals.
Performs managerial duties as they relate to planning, directing, and coordinating administration, operational, and financial activities of the division.
Manages division research grants and contracts in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding records, reports, controls, and conditions governing expenditure of funds.
Provides support to personnel by interpreting policies, operational procedures, and guidelines.
Prepares management summaries regarding financial reports and provides recommendations and conclusions.
Serves as division liaison within the NCPC and MSM .
Supervises administrative personnel by approving leave requests, assigning, reviewing and evaluating work.
Coordinates facility management activities to include the maintenance of equipment, supplies, and furniture.

It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
